May is an exciting month for us at Tourissimo. Our guiding team is on the road leading tours throughout Italy, the weather is beautiful, and the landscape is lush with vines and wildflowers coming to life.

New Travel Requirements
The Entry/exit System (EES) has been implemented to varying degrees in several countries. The system is still new, and countries including Italy are still working out the details.
ETIAS has been in the news for the past few years. This is a visa waiver program for tourists from certain countries who will be traveling to Italy (and other countries within the Schengen Area) that is now scheduled to begin sometime in the last quarter of 2026. We've been following the developments since the program was announced and we'll keep you updated in the blog post, below.
