Destinations

Lake Como

Lake Como has been an alluring destination since Roman times, when Pliny the Younger built the Comedia and the Tragedia resorts. It is the perfect spot for both an active and a relaxing vacation, combining nature and culture.

Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the third largest in Italy. The shoreline is dotted with small, colorful towns. Our villa is located above the charming and peaceful town of Argegno, which is the perfect base for exploring the lake.

Villa Concetta

Como

Originally built in 1911 by an illustrious Milanese family, Villa Concetta is a picturesque holiday residence located on the western shore of Lake Como. From the villa, one can see across from the headland of Bellagio to the north pre-Alps and as far as Nesso to the south.

Just in front of the villa is the classic Sisinnio church. This iconic structure is represented in a Winston Churchill watercolor, painted from the garden of Villa Concetta.

Lucca

A Unesco World Heritage site, Lucca is a well-preserved walled city. The original walls date back to Roman times and the current structure is from the Renaissance, designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

The city’s cobbled streets and handsome piazzas can be explored on foot. Other notable cities, such as Florence and Pisa, are not far away. Vorno parish, where out villa is located, is not far outside of the city walls.

Villa Al Boschiglia

It is surrounded by a stone wall, extensive gardens, cypress trees, olive groves, magnolias and rose bushes and offers panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside.

LE MARCHE

Le Marche is one of Italy’s most unspoiled and picturesque regions. Nestled between the dramatic Sibillini Mountains and the coastline of the Adriatic Sea, Le Marche offers natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, but without the crowds.

In Le Marche you can discover an authentic way of life, where the seasons guide the daily rhythms of people and local industry. With its endless coastlines of clean, quiet beaches, breathtaking mountain ranges and charming historic towns, Le Marche ticks all the boxes for those seeking an authentic Italian escape.

EASTERN SICILY

Sicily, Italy’s biggest island, is blessed with a mild climate and amazing cuisine. The eastern side of Sicily offers endless opportunities for exploration, with its active volcanoes, ancient ruins, Baroque cities, quaint fishing towns and stunning beaches.

The glorious and imposing Mt. Etna is a dominating presence in eastern Sicily. The fertile volcanic soil produces amazing wines and abundant vegetables.

Baronia Villa

sicily

This country manor dating back to 1700 has been fully restored preserving the original structure and appearance, with impressive, monumental architecture and a scenic staircase.

The villa offers views of both Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea, which is just one km away. It is positioned between Taormina and Catania. The mediterranean garden with swimming pool behind the villa contributes to the beautiful and scenic landscapes visible from the house.

Beppe is so organized and structured! I really appreciated all the details done for me. Yet, he made it seem so effortless! ( I know it was not) Federica was such a caring guide always stopping to assist and provide water (for me :-) and quietly and gracefully working her butt off leading the peloton.
