Several airlines are launching new and seasonal nonstop flights from North America to key Italian destinations, making it simpler to arrive closer to where your tour begins. This means fewer connections, less travel fatigue and more time actually enjoying Italy.

Here are some of the newest options for spring/summer/fall 2026

 

DELTA AIRLINES
JFK → Olbia (Sardinia)

Seasonal, four times weekly starting May 20

You can now fly nonstop from the U.S. directly to Sardinia. Olbia is about 1.5 hours from Alghero, where our Sardinia Coast to Coast tour begins, and roughly three hours from Cagliari, the starting point for our Sardinia Chef Bike Tour.

 

Boston (BOS) → Milan (Malpensa)
Seasonal, four times weekly

Milan is an easy gateway to northern Italy. It’s about a 45-minute train ride or two-hour drive to Turin, the meeting point for our Hills of Barolo cycling and hiking tours. Milan is also the meeting point for our Cinque Terre hiking tour and a major high-speed rail hub.

Seasonal nonstop

Rome remains Italy’s primary gateway, with fast train connections north and south.
