We’d like to introduce (or reintroduce) you to Rocky, the energetic Lagotto Romagnolo who joined our family last year. Some of you met him on tour in 2025, others have followed along from afar, but either way, Rocky has officially become part of the Tourissimo story.

We won’t know his exact schedule until the season takes shape. What we do know is this: after a very busy year on the road, Rocky has opinions. And he’s ready to share his top picks for touring Italy in 2026 (keep scrolling to see his picks).
Last year alone, Rocky:
🐾 Road-tripped from Piedmont to Calabria to join Chef Mary Sue Milliken and our guests on the inaugural Calabria Chef Bike Tour (group picture above).
🐾 Took an overnight ferry to Sardinia
🐾 Slept in a Tourissimo van converted into a camper
🐾 Hiked ancient trails
🐾 Enjoyed the lively atmosphere of Rimini with cycling club groups on the Adriatic Coast
🐾 Vacationed in Val di Sole with Heather and Beppe
🐾 Went hiking in the Alps
🐾 Tried truffle hunting in the Apennines and found his very first truffles
🐾 Swam in the turquoise waters of Calabria
