If you are here, it's because you are a Cycling Fusion rider and are looking forward to a bike trip in Italy: The Sicily Bike Tour takes place from May 23rd through May 29th, 2021.

Please bookmark this page so that you can check back for helpful information and updates related to your tour. This page is meant to cut down on email in your already overloaded inbox, but please do feel free to contact us anytime you wish. 

Much of the itinerary is in place, but certain details can not be finalized until later. We will continuously update this page with more info as it becomes available.

Arriving: the most likely option is that you fly to Palermo via Rome. But also check with connections with other European hubs. Transfer by Tourissimo at a scheduled time.

Flights and Travel: we recommend looking into flights as soon as you've reserved a spot but not to book yet. Check with your airline about flexible rescheduling.

Payment plan: Our standard payment method is to collect a 10% deposit upfront and the final payment 90 days before the start of the tour. Participants can choose this or opt for a flexible payment plan. Deposit will still be 10% and the payment terms are flexible- weekly or monthly, with the possibility of more time to pay the final balance. There will be a 2.75% payment plan processing fee for those who want to participate. Contact us if you would like to take advantage of this option.

Here's our cancellation policy:

Days Prior to Departure Cancellation Fees:

  • 91+       Admin fee – 250 USD

  • 61-90    Tour deposit    

  • 31-60    50% of tour price

  • 0-30     100% of tour price

For 2021 trips we have lowered our deposit from 20% to 10% and we've updated our cancellation policy: https://www.tourissimo.travel/terms-and-conditions. We encourage everyone who is planning to book a trip to review the details and contact us with any questions.
 
Anyone who books agrees to the cancellation policy. We are not giving full cash refunds (beyond what is due in the cancellation policy) because of the pandemic. We are, however, offering credits. Any cancellation because of the COVID-19 emergency will be protected: any amount already paid becomes a credit. You will not lose your money. The credit is transferable, or it can become a gift certificate (or multiple gift certificates). For private/custom tours: we will work with your group organizer to find a new date later in the year or the following year for your trip. If you can not make the new dates, you can use your credit on any of our trips or transfer your credit to someone else.
