Tourissimo Tours are for Nearly Everyone
Tourissimo tours are not for super athletes. But they are for motivated people that like the feel of a good workout. The level of fitness required follows Tourissimo guidelines and tour rating (below).
The rating depends on a number of factors that include length of the walks or rides, elevation gain and gradient as well as type of terrain.
E-bikes
E-bikes have a battery assisted system that, while still riding as a bike, provide "free" Watts that propel riders forward in a nearly magical way. They are an option that can allow riders to accomplish so much more than they would on a standard bike. And, you guessed it, they level the playing field for couples of different fitness levels.
Sometimes, riders upgrade to E-bikes when they are recovering from an injury or if they haven't had time to bring their fitness level up to where it should be. No matter the reason, the option is there for you to take.

The most important thing of all: walk and bike at your own comfortable pace. The choice of pace and the amount of activity is always yours.
A tour leader will always be around with our support van, so you can ride as much or as little as you like.
The tour levels indicated (below) show average daily activities. On some days, two options are offered for those wanting to do more or less. Please, bear in mind that we are not talking about gym workouts, but rather about outdoor activities where the occasional obstacle can make things a little more challenging. If in doubt, feel free to contact us to discuss what the best tour would be for you.

This tour was a great way for me to be introduced to cycling, while also challenging myself. I loved the integration of food/cycling for this tour as it allowed me to be more immersed in the culture and more immersed in the views. I saw the country in a different lens (due to the cycling aspect) and I will certainly do this again.
You guys did an amazing job planning. I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger with my luggage, my bikes, etc... The food was INCREDIBLE. I am so happy to have eaten at so many awesome places that I would not have been able to find on my own.
